SEG supports Navy and MDA programs in a broad spectrum of radar systems analysis that includes: current and next generation requirements derivation and performance prediction. These studies will impact next generation combat system architectures. SEG engineers are assisting the Navy team in the current test and evaluation of new baselines. We are also developing new algorithms to enhance system performance against cruise missiles and tactical ballistic missiles. SEGs simulations of sensor and combat system performance in difficult littoral warfare environments such as the Persian Gulf have contributed to back fit and forward fit requirements and solutions. SEG has been a key participant in the development of a new multichannel CDCS, coherent data collection system, that is now being fielded. This will allow us to record raw radar returns. SEG also has developed an extensive set of data analysis tools to process the recorded data.
