Tiger Airways Maintenance was established in the Summer of 2004, with a CAA M3 Approval, initially just to maintain the two Stampes we were using intensively for Introductory Lessons and Aerobatic Displays. There are plenty of good maintenance organisations around who can do a 50hour Check or an Annual on a Pa28 or Cessna 152, but not so many with the expertise to deal with vintage wood and fabric types. In the four years of existence we have put together a highly skilled team of engineers able to work on the older types of aircraft and are now able to take on outside maintenance work besides keeping our own fleet in the air.
